It reveals that?96 percent of the top 250 online retailers have a presence on Twitter, and command an average follower count of 57,097? Impressive isn?t it? well If you think so, take a look at Facebook which has a slight edge over Twitter in overall usage (97 percent). Facebook dwarfs the micro-blogging network in audience size with average count of almost one million fans a piece, apart from that, some 43 retailer Facebook Pages have more than a million Likes, this is in contrast to Twitter that has just one of the top 250 internet retailers ? @MLB ? with more than a million Twitter followers (more than two million, actually as at the time of this writing)
