Marketing: Communications - Careers

Scope: Reporting to the Vice President for Enrollment Management and Marketing, the Director of Marketing Communications oversees all aspects of the college?s integrated marketing communications efforts to increase visibility, brand awareness, reputation and engagement with key external constituencies (especially prospective undergraduate and graduate students). Duties include design, implementation and assessment of the college?s integrated marketing communications, including the college website, social media and other electronic communications, print collateral, advertising, and direct marketing.

Primary Responsibilities: ?Annually create and implement an integrated marketing communications plan to support strategic goals of increasing undergraduate and graduate enrollment and fundraising efforts. ?Create and track throughout the year annual Marketing Communications plans and budgets. ?Oversee and participate in content creation and design of the college website as it relates to recruitment of all students, ensuring adoption and integration of appropriate new technologies to maximize information delivery and user engagement with the site. ?Oversee all direct mail campaigns, e-communications, and advertising, and print collateral projects. ?In conjunction with event sponsors across the college, effectively promote special events. ?Supervise any marketing staff and/or contractors.

Requirements: ?Bachelor?s degree required, master?s degree desirable. ?At least five years' experience in marketing communications or related field. Higher education experience or service experience highly desirable. ?Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and operational skills with a proven ability to handle multiple tasks and projects. ?Proven track record in developing, executing and measuring the effectiveness of integrated marketing communications programs. ?Management experience. ?Solid computer skills, including experience with basic Microsoft Office programs. ?Skilled marketing writer with excellent oral and written communication skills. ?Ability to engage and collaborate with people at all organizational levels.
