Crescent's Resort Division currently has an opportunity for a Project Controller at the Palmetto Bluff resort, located in Bluffton, SC.

Position Summary: Primary responsible for the accounting and financial controls for the pristine resort Palmetto Bluff located in Bluffton, SC. Directs the accounting, budgeting, planning and maintaining financial information for the resort. Includes all aspects of resort accounting including golf, spa, The Inn, marina, and the development aspects for the 20,000 acre property.

Primary Duties Include:

• Analyzing and preparing financial documents and directing accounting transactions
• Providing timely status reports to management
• Monitoring project activities and ensuring compliance with company practices and policies
• Interacting with many levels of customers including management staff, clients, resident and vendor partners
• Ensuring proper payments and transactions with third parties
• Managing complex accounting issues
• Managing budget activities and annual business plan i partnership with the resort leadership team

Required Experience and Education:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting; CPA required
• 5 plus years' experience in real estate and/or resort environment
• Strong accounting background
• Advanced knowledge of Timberline software, Excel
• Excellent analytical and written skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, team player
• Able to work in a fast paced environment
